Booking In For A Procedure

Last Updated on Wednesday, 02 November 2016 12:00

Booking in for your procedure Pre-op assessment Arriving for your procedure Post-op care

In order to book a procedure, you will need to contact an appropriate consultant's secretary.  To view the consultants who have admittance rights to Parkside, please see Find a Consultant.  If you are unsure what kind of consultant you will need, please contact us and we can happily direct you.  From there, the consultants secretary will give you details about your procedure and arrange a time and date; if you are self-funding, he or she will refer you to us for a price and if you are insured, he or she will prompt you to contact your insurance company to let them know about the procedure.  From there, the information is passed to our Bookings team at Parkside and you'll be booked to come to the Parkside Suite.

You will receive an admission pack from our Bookings office confirming the date and time, which will include any eating instructions to adhere to before your procedure.  You might also be contacted by our Pre-Op nurses should you require a Pre-Operative assessment.  If you are self-funding, a receptionist will phone you the day before your procedure to take payment. We accept all major credit and debit cards, excluding American Express, as well as cash.  If you intend to come in by car, please check with one of our team if you are safe to drive after the procedure.
